Growing Happy Children Across Devon

A family of local nurseries, each rooted in its own community.

Welcome to Devon Nurseries

At Devon Nurseries, childhood is celebrated. We create a happy, stimulating environment where children are encouraged to explore, imagine and grow at their own pace.

Our setting combines nurturing care with rich learning experiences, supporting every stage of early development. Through play, discovery and meaningful relationships, we help children build confidence, resilience and a lifelong love of learning.

Whether it’s their first day away from home or their final year before school, we are here to make every moment count.

Explore Our Families

Our nursery group has the shared vision of providing quality early years education and care in safe, happy and stimulating environments. We aim to provide activities, resources, experiences and opportunities that allow children to develop holistically.

Being part of a wider family means our nurseries can share experience, ideas, and best practice, while still offering the personal touch and individuality that parents value most. Whether you’re looking for somewhere close to home or work, each of our nurseries offers something a little different, while sharing the same high standards of care.

Come and explore our nurseries and discover the one that feels like the perfect fit for your child.

Our Story

Our nurseries were founded on a simple belief: that children deserve more than just childcare — they deserve meaningful care, consistency and encouragement during their most important early years.

Having worked hands-on within our nurseries, I am passionate about maintaining environments where children feel secure, staff feel supported and parents feel confident in the care their child receives. We are proud to remain a close-knit, family-run organisation, where quality, trust and relationships come before growth for growth’s sake.

Every nursery reflects our shared values while retaining its own character, shaped by the community it serves.

Parent Hub

The relationship between parents and carers of the children attending the nurseries is very important to us and good communication is vital.
These relationships are fostered through the implementation of a key person approach and is further supported through sharing information with parents in discussions, through Family and at planned events.

Tax Free Childcare

Tax-Free Childcare allows eligible working families to receive financial support towards childcare costs, helping to make high-quality early education more affordable.

Funded Childcare Eligibility

Funded childcare may be available depending on your child’s age and your family circumstances, with government support offered for eligible 2, 3 and 4-year-olds.

Reuben started at Tic Tocs Day Nursery in September 2021. As a lockdown baby, I was initially anxious about separating with him because the first 18 months of his life had been spent solely with me. The nursery and staff were excellent at integrating him into his first room, The Ladybirds. In turn it helped to ease my worries as well.
The staff are all so friendly and happy to discuss any issues and offer their expertise when needed. The nursery itself is just lovely with great facilities for the children. Reuben comes home ecstatic about playing with the cars and in the garden. All of the staff members are attentive and caring and I can tell that Reuben is so well looked after there as he’s always eager to go to nursery! If he hurts himself then the staff will cuddle him which is something that brings me great comfort to know that if my child is hurt, his emotional needs are being met as well as his physical. Overall I could not fault this nursery. It was the best choice for me and my family in a great central location. It is safe and friendly and has exceeded all of the standards I had set regarding where to send my child. Well done Tic Tocs!
